Çağdaş Cantürk

Çağdaş CANTÜRK, who graduated from Ege University Food Engineering in 2002, worked as a Production Chief for 5 years at Bahçıvan Gıda in 2004 right after his military service. In addition to managing production team, he led the various projects of production department such as SAP and Quality Systems integration.

In 2009, he started to work as Production Manager in Perfetti Van Melle, an Italian Dutch partnership. In the same period, he participated in Executive Development Unit program at Sabancı University. In 2016, he was appointed as Continuous Improvement Manager and became Lean Transformation Leader.

Having worked in this position for 3 years, Çağdaş has created strategies for deploying the Perfetti Operational Excellence System to all departments, designed training programs to improve employees’ knowledge and skills, led digitalization projects within the Suggestion System, Problem Solving and Kaizen Systems. He also successfully led Lean Six Sigma DMAIC Green and Black Belt projects.

He has participated in the Executive MBA program of Yeditepe University in 2016 and received academic training in fields such as Financial Analysis, Project Management and Change Management.
Between 2018 and 2019, he worked as a plant manager in Germany and worked on team management, planning and improvement projects.

After 15 years of active field work, Çağdaş started to provide consultancy services as of 2019, and started to provide Operational Excellence (OPEX) Management trainings and coaching to the project teams during their projects. During OPEX and TPM consultancy, Çağdaş supported companies such as Henkel Kimya and Şölen Gıda. In addition, he supported the Global Henkel Production System for the purpose of system and concept design, material preparation and dissemination within the scope of Human Development, Cell Organization, Standard Work and Network of Specialist at a global level.

In 2020, he joined Matris Consultants as a Master Black Belt and has been leading the Lean and Lean Six Sigma deployment projects, black and green belt trainings and coaching, change management consulting, as well as Matris digitalization and online training projects. At the same time, he continues the Team and Executive Coaching program at the Sola Unitas Academy since the beginning of 2020.
